Fernanda Santiago has always had a passion for wellness and helping people get healthy. Her great grandmother was a midwife, herbalist and considered by many to be an expert in the use of natural healing compounds. This knowledge of herbal medicine and natural healing has been passed down for generations. Fernanda was introduced to Aromatic Botanical Medicine early in her career and has specialized in Aromatherapy for 16 years. She has also trained in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and mentored by Acupuncture Physicians, and Botanists, gaining hands on experience. She has studied with both Floracopeia and The School of Aromatic Studies.She loves gardening, the outdoors and creating custom formulations for her clients. She has a private practice in Apex, NC named Healing Feels Good®. Here she provides consultations, Aromatherapy treatments & formulations as well as bodywork sessions such as Reflexology, Thai Massage and Thai Herbal Poultice treatments. 

 

She is the co-founder of Apex Retreat Seminars, a nationally approved continuing education school for massage therapist and is a Level 2 NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist.

Ryan Sullivan

Ryan Sullivan, LMT, teaches nationally certified courses through NCBTMB and CE Broker. He has influenced many aspiring therapists as an Instructor at Lively Technical Institute School of Massage and as guest instructor at Aveda Institute's Massage Therapy School. 

 

In his Tallahassee, Florida office, Ryan practices diverse healing modalities including Cupping, Thai Massage, Reiki and Active Isolated Stretching. Ryan studied cupping with Bruce Bentley, widely regarded as the world's foremost expert on cupping. He studied Thai Massage with Ariela Grodner, founder of Bodhi Shanga School of Thai Massage and Nephyr Jacobsen founder of Naga Healing Center. Ryan received his Reiki mastership from Toni Walmsley in the Usui Ryoho tradition. He has studied Active Isolated Stretching with Aaron Mattes, creator of the system. Karin Sorvik instructed Ryan in Chi Nei Tsang. 

 

Ryan also studied Tuning Fork Therapy with Fabien Maman, the founding father of vibrational sound therapy. Ryan has studied with many other teachers, and continues to seek high-level training in pursuit of life-long learning.

Paul Kohlmeier, BPE, RMT, R.Ac

I have been in massage therapy practice for 40+ years including over 25 years of integrating Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Acupuncturist, Paul Kohlmeier is an experienced and skilled massage therapist who is also trained as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbalist. Graduating with a Physical Education degree from the University of Manitoba, Paul went on to obtain his Diploma in Massage Therapy from Wellington College and Diplomas in both Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Hua Xia Acupuncture and Herb College of Canada. Paul has a wealth of information looking forways to get out of his head...which has led him to teaching and lecturing over the last 15 years.

 

Paul runs a community acupuncture practice, in addition to his Massage Therapy practice from his clinic based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In addition to his keen interest in Massage Therapy and ChineseMedicine, Paul is a self-proclaimed research geek having participated in the World Fascia Congress, IN-CAM and the Massage Therapy Foundation Research Conference and loves bringing everything he learns to the treatment room as well as the classroom. 

 

Being certified in both Massage Therapy and Chinese Medicine, Paul has a unique ability to speak to the two different bodies of knowledge. Linda Nordahl

 

Cupping for TMJ Pain Management

 

Linda is a massage therapist from Atlanta Georgia. She graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage with honors in 2016. She received a certificate of completion as a personal trainer, and in corrective exercise with NASM. She received advanced restorative sports training and has worked with professional football players. She is currently working on her Bachelors of Holistic Health Sciences and has completed her H ealth Coach certification with the International Quantum University for integrative Medicine out of Honolulu Hawaii. 

 

She has been a TA with Cupping Canada for over 2 - years and started teaching in 2023 . When she isn’t traveling for Cupping Canada, she sees clients in a Chiropractic clinic and has mobile corporate chair massage clients. Linda applies cupping techniques in these settings and sees how cupping techniques create tissue changes within each client. Brad Norris is a registered massage therapist, kinesiologist / exercise physiologist and human performance specialist. He earned a Master’s degree with a specialist in exercise science and biomechanics from East Tennessee State University. He is also a former member of the Canadian National Bobsleigh Team and Canadian Track and Field program. 

 

He holds certifications in functional integrated acupuncture, soft tissue release ( STR / MMR ), Fascial Abrasion techniques / IASTM, Fascial Stretch Therapy and corrective functional exercise / assessment.
